What does it mean to be a refugee? Why was this such a problematic term?

A refugee is somebody who is seeking or taking refuge, especially from war or persecution, by going to a foreign country.

It was such a problem because New Orelans is an american state and they are citizens of the USA and when people started to call them refugees they got mad. They felt like the USA didn't care about them and that they are different because they don't have a home.

The stories of Katrina help with my memoir by seeing someone else’s memoir that I know something about. All of their stories have a lot of feeling and about what happen on that tragic week and all of their feelings. They use great detail and explain everything that makes the story so that you can picture it very clearly. I think that will make my memoir stronger.

The article was about Jerry and how he is trying to figure out his mind and writing. He finds that the best way is to review himself and write stories about his life. At first it was hard to understand his past and what happened. after a while he thought about bits and put it together to make his life story. He learned about how he got where he is today. He found out by his hopes and dreams and the people who have influenced him. Throw the years there have been brains scans done to see emotions in the the brain. He found that writing is an emotion and that it can be therapeutic. Many people have found the connection between powerful writing and emotions. His studies have found the answer to his question he was looking for. The answer was that the story was in him and his life. The 2ed summery is about hurricane Katrina victims. They were talking about the painful experience and what happened. Everything was taken from them their home and memories. They miss their friends and family because they got separated when it hit. they miss the good times they had and everything that it was before the hurricane hit. After the hurricane was gone they found out a lot about themselves and who they really are. They said it was the best thing that has every happened to them and they now know what is most important in their lives.

I think that it is really good that he has an interest and that he will do what ever it takes to find out his answer. He seams to know what he is doing and is very deep into his topic. I think he might spend a little to much time doing research for his topic. I feel really bad for the people who got hit with a hurricane. It must not be fun have no home and no where to go because it has been destroyed I really hope they can find somewhere to stay.
