Katrina
The stories of Katrina help with my memoir by seeing someone else’s memoir that I know something about. All of their stories have a lot of feeling and about what happen on that tragic week and all of their feelings. They use great detail and explain everything that makes the story so that you can picture it very clearly. I think that will make my memoir stronger.

Matt, whattupppp dog. Yea I agree the Katrina video definitely helped my memoir writings, but I think for this blog assignment I am supposed to write about Satrapi. Which is weird because on the blackboard it says to write a response to some one else’s blog about Satrapi but I don’t think anyone has written about Satrapi so whatever, I’m just going to write about her so I get credit. If I was her I would have been out of Iran so flippin’ fast, I think as soon as the government tells me I have to wear a vale on my head and getting the fudge out of there. I don’t even know why that was an issue in the first place, she was like my family and heritage and wah wah wah I’ll cry about stuff and just hope things get better. She should have moved to Canada or something, you know, free health care. Speaking of free, on blackboard it says freedom isn’t free which is true kind of. The only time a human being isn’t free is when some one tries to take freedom away, so I don’t think that necessarily means freedom isn’t free. I just think that means there are a lot of stupid jerks in the world want to put a price tag on it. They don’t think other people deserve freedom, which is crazy because you don’t deserve, earn or buy freedom, you’re born with it. The level of incompetence of certain individuals is of astronomical proportions Matt, but if you think of a world with no other people, no Hitler, no genocide, no guns, no kings, no presidents, no rules, and you put a human being in it, they’re naturally free every time. So freedom itself is free, it’s just other people that mess that up.
